Description
This video demonstration will show you how to use Incisive Xcellerator to find formulas that fail to reference all of the data that they should. These formulas may accidentally be written to omit some important data.

Problem: Formulas that don't cover all the area that it should

  1. In this case, formula sums up value of ten '1's to equal '10'.
  2. We insert a row to add data, an extra '1'
  3. Formula does not cover new data. New sum should equal '11' not '10'
  4. Run Xcellerator for test to flag this issue as 'Formula Fails to Cover Area'
  5. Having identified the problem, you can now adjust the range to include your new data
  6. Hit rescan in Xcellerator to find that issue no longer exists
