How to give Incisive Online a try:

Incisive Online is a month-to-month, pay as you go service: no refunds are provided. You are billed every 30 days for the service. You can cancel the service at any time and will not be charged again, however you are responsible for any charges already incurred.

No. The only fee you will pay is the fixed monthly fee.

Compare Two Spreadsheets (workbook diff)

• Diff Report - A detailed report showing differences between two workbooks in textual form (pdf). Use this to see exactly what changed between versions of a workbook. It is Excellent for seeing sheet name changes, named range changes, as well as formula changes in a list form. learn more
• Diff Map - A visual depiction of the differences between two workbooks in workbook form (xls) with comments to describe differences. Use this to check a particular area in the spreadsheet for changes, or to get a visual idea of the changes. learn more

When trying to install Xcellerator or Validate, you may get a message from the “Bootstrapper” saying “Failed to install Incisive Navigate”. This is usually caused by an incomplete download of the installation executable. Try downloading the installer again. We have changed the way that we provide the installer, and now use a more robust method. Please give the download a try again, and if you have any issues, please contact support at: support@incisive.com.

After installing Xcellerator, Validate, Audit, Detect, or Navigate, you may find that one day, when you start Excel, you don't see it. This can happen if Excel decides to turn off the add-in, and Excel will not necessarily let you know that it has done this.

To make re-enabling an Excel Add-in an easier experience, I have developed two short video tutorials that steps you through the process.

The following are required to run Incisive Validate.

The following software prerequisites are required to run Incisive Validate and will be installed automatically. The software with 2003 or 2007 will be selected automatically depending on your version of Microsoft ® Excel.

• Microsoft ® Visual Studio Tools for Office Microsoft ® Office 2003 or 2007
• Microsoft ®.Net Framework 2.0
• Microsoft ® Office 2003 or 2007 Primary Interop Assemblies

Trial License Details
An Xcellerator or Validate trial license is good for a seven day evaluation period. The seven day period begins when you register/activate your product.

Beta License Details
A Beta license is good for a set period of time determined by the beta program. This is often a period several months long.

Annual License Details
Annual licenses expire after a period of one year from the date of first activation (this used to be the date purchased). Annual licenses are only available from Incisive upon special agreement. All licenses sold by Incisive through this site are Perpetual licenses, which are described below.

Perpetual License Details
A perpetual license is good indefinitely from the date of activation. A customer with a perpetual license is able to upgrade within the same major version of the software for which the license was purchased. For example, if an non trial Xcellerator 1 license is purchased, this will be a perpetual license, and that license will entitle the user to all upgrades of Xcellerator 1, but will not entitle the user to upgrade to Xcellerator 2, when it becomes available.

Question: Is the Xcellerator trail license limited in any way?

There are two limitations when using a trial license. The first limit is time based. The trial license is a 7 day license. The second limitation is the number of available tests is reduced. In the trial version, there are 6 tests, while in the full version there are 23. The following are included in the trial:

• Data in Formula Range
• Formula Fails to Cover Area
• Constant in Formula
• Hidden Rows/Columns
• External Workbooks
• Complexity

Getting a key for a trial or a purchase
You can purchase Xcellerator from the Xcellerator product page. From that page, you can choose to purchase the software, or obtain a free trial. In either case, place the appropriate version in your shopping cart and check out. Once you have checked out, you will receive your activation key via email. You key will also be recorded in your invoice which is available from within your account when you have logged in.

You can download the latest version of Xcellerator here or get the version available when you made your purchase from within your account.
